Run to your air raid shelters and take your sleeping bags down’ the tube, the rumourmill is about to explode.

It’s never nice to feel like a Pawn in Apple’s great annual chess game but nonetheless, news has emerged from Taiwan that Apple’s manufacturer’s production line is choking on iPad 2.

Reuters has reported that Yuanta Securities’ production line is so stifled that we may be waiting until June before the second generation of the record-breaking slate computer is launched.

This is probably all bollocks as Apple has an annoying habit of rerouteing press interest before they pin us down for a ‘surprise’ launch; although we are now a month later than last year’s iPad announcement.

Announcements of the spec of the new tablet computer – which has much more competition this time round from the likes of BlackBerry makers RIM, Motorola and other Android platform devices – are expected to include Flash, HTML 5 and cameras, all currently missing from iPad.
