Not shy of using an utter tragedy to ejaculate devil-sperm opinion over the airwaves, a New Zealand extremist church is citing the country’s recent earthquakes as the manifestation of God’s anger over the nation’s stance on homosexuality.

Correspondence circulated to politicians in the grief-stricken island by a senior minister of Auckland’s Victory Community Church said:

“New Zealand cannot go on murdering unborn children, undermining the God-given authority of parents to discipline their children, legalising prostitution, homosexual unions (in kind to marriage)… ”

Not content to leave the Kiwis to start clearing the damage caused in the Christchuch Earthquake, an American-hosted website – christchurchquake.net (currently not in operating) obviously made up of the world’s finest seismologists – connects the quake with to what it calls “swamp lesbians” and “plane loads of perverts” and the like.

The story comes in a week where Hacktivism group Anonymous denied they were targeting notorious zealots in the Westboro Baptist Church, those behind the God Hates Fags billboards which famously line the streets at the funerals of US Army soldiers.

How we wish they’d rethink.
